You do NOT have to be a member of the Genetics Society of America to register at this time, but member rates are lower than nonmember rates. To register at the lower
member rate, you must be a paid 2012 GSA member. To verify your current GSA membership status click on:

The deadline for receipt of early registration at the reduced rate is midnight, Friday, January 20, 2012. After that date, this program will continue to be
available for online registration at the regular rate until midnight, Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Subsequent registrations will only be accepted onsite, at the conference.

Request for Receipt/Letter of Invitation
Please login to GSA web portal to retrieve the receipt and letter of invitation.
Advance Registration Deadline
The deadline for receipt of advance registration at the reduced rate is February 29, 2012. Credit cards must be used to register for the Conference via the online registration site at http://www.drosophila-conf.org/ open on November 9, 2011. After February 29, 2012, those registering onsite will be assessed an additional $25 administrative fee.
Payment
Payment must be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).
Credit card payments will not be accepted by telephone or fax.
Cancellation of Advance Registration
A $50 processing fee will be charged for all registration cancellations. Registration cancellations will be accepted and refunds processed by sending a written request via e-mail to
sbrown@genetics-gsa.org. Cancellation requests must reach the GSA office by February 29, 2012. After that date, no refunds will be made. If you have already received your name badge, it must be returned to the GSA office (9650 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20814-3998 Attn: Suzy Brown) in order to receive the refund.
Program Book
All registrants receive one complimentary copy of the Program Book, with full schedule information including platform and poster session date, time, title, authors, etc. as well as the keyword, speaker/author and Flybase Genetic indexes. Full abstract text will only be available online and will not be printed in the Program Book. You are encouraged to print full abstracts for those sessions of interest before leaving home. If you would like to receive your book in advance, you will have the option of printing the Program Book, including full abstracts in book format, for a fee, through a third-party vendor. Information regarding this option will be sent to registered attendees in mid-March and will also be posted here.
