The Genetics Tutor is an intelligent learning environment
that poses multi-step genetics problems and employes a
model of problem-solving knowledge to offer students
step-by-step advice as needed. The tutor covers topics in
transmission, pedigree analysis, gene mapping, gene
regulation and population genetics and has been piloted in
15 colleges and universities.
